Believing is seeing

We see the world through contrasts. We understand by comparisons. We decide discontentment when we compare to others. We want more when we see a contrast between what we want and don’t have.

And yet seeing light is only possible by seeing darkness. And knowing our faults is through seeing perfection. How would we know comfort if we did not know pain? And how would we know companionship if we do not also know aloneness?

Choose wisely. Infuse truth into your thoughts. Without it, we understand blindly and stumble through perceived knowledge. When we believe the right things, we see the correct way.

Two glasses. Looks like they hold water. But they don’t. Two labels. Two words. First one – poison. The second one – life. We have many choices but only one that’s important. Choose poison or life. What do you believe?

Sin is poison. It kills us if we choose it. Jesus is life. He rescues us if we choose Him. You can’t have both options, nor neither. It’s either one or the other. What will you choose?

Jesus said “whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:14

So we must decide. There are only two options. Your life depends on it. What will you believe?
